Gospel Outreach Community Church

Pastor Biography

Pastor Jeremiah “JB” Marshall is the son of Pastor Frank Marshall and Evangelist Elmira Marshall. He has been a preacher’s kid all of his life but he will neither confirm nor deny the rumors surrounding PKs. Pastor JB is blessed to be married to the magnificent Alicia James-Marshall since 2005. The cup runneth over when God blessed him with two beautiful children in Xavier Marshall, also known as X-Man, and Linda Marie Marshall.

Pastor JB accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior at the age of 13 in Fayetteville, NC at Charity Church. He preached his first sermon at the age of 16 in Heidelberg, Germany.

After graduating from high school, Pastor JB joined the United States Air Force and moved to Fort Walton Beach, FL. God lead him to New Zion Tabernacle (NZT) in 1998 where he accepted his calling into the ministry and was ordained in 2002. At NZT, Pastor JB was the Children of Zion choir director, Singles Ministry leader, Young Adult bible study teacher, and drummer for all choirs.

The Air Force relocated Pastor JB to Northern Virginia in 2002 where he began attending Victory Temple Missionary Baptist Church (VTMBC) in Alexandria, VA. Pastor JB was active in ministry such as the Singles Ministry, Evangelism, Outreach, Sunday School and various other ministries.

On Jan 26, 2014 God called Pastor JB to plant a church in Woodbridge, VA called Gospel Outreach Community Church. After many Bible Studies and pre-launch services, GOCC (pronounced Go-See) officially launched on April 5, 2015 with the focus on evangelism and education. God assigned the ministry to assist and meet the needs of the homeless brothers and sisters in the Woodbridge area.

Pastor JB’s mission is to give God his best service while encouraging others to do the same. His favorite scripture reference is from I Corinthians 9:22b “I have become all things to all men so that by all possible means I might save some.”
